ITINERARY
Arrive at Guwahati airport and drive to Shillong (110 kms, 3 hours approx.). En-route stop at Umium Lake viewpoint.
Full day excursion to Dawki and Mawlynnong (known for its cleanliness) and back (90 kms, 3 hours approx. one way).
- Morning drive to Dawki
- Visit Indo-Bangladesh border and Umngot River (optional country boat ride)
- Proceed to Mawlynnong village
- Trek to the living root bridge at Riwai
- See the natural balancing rock
- Evening drive back to Shillong
